GPC is a private construction firm that specializes in building projects. We are looking for responsible individuals to join our team and train in all aspects of construction work!

ADVANCEMENT OPPORTUNITIES – you are coming in on the ground floor, work for us and move up as we grow.

GPC is seeking a Superintendent in Training. This person will monitor construction projects for their entire lifecycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES

-On-Site Project Administration

-Document review

-Daily inspection/logging

-Safety inspection

-Inspection coordination

-Schedule management/coordination

-Cost management

-Personnel Management - Supervise staff and provide constructive feedback.

-Technical management/participation with field personnel in self performed trade work, demolition, concrete, carpentry, etc.

-Subcontractor coordination

-Quality control

-Coordination with project management team

-Provide progress and project updates.

-Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderly

Qualifications

-Previous experience in construction site management, principals, and practice and/or applicable education.

-Basic knowledge of quality and safety guidelines for construction job sites

-Good understanding of construction operations and processes. Basic proficiency in reading/reviewing construction plans/specs.

-Proficient in MS Office, Excel

-Degree in Engineering, construction management or similar field or applicable experience is a plus.

-Good Driving record & Valid Driver's License
