Full job description
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at ROOM, your primary responsibility is to actively engage potential customers and generate interest in our award-winning product suite of modular architecture. You will target key decision-makers in various sectors, effectively communicating the value of our products and creating valuable sales opportunities. Your role also involves maintaining accurate records in our CRM system and meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly lead generation targets. This position requires a results-oriented approach and strong communication skills. Ideally the candidate will be from the New York or San Francisco area with expectations to be in office at least 3 days a week.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive outbound prospecting efforts through diverse channels like phone calls, emails, and social media to pinpoint potential customers.
- Qualify and nurture leads, ensuring effective identification of decision-makers and key influencers.
- Educate prospects about our comprehensive range of products, services, and solutions, emphasizing their unique value propositions.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, product demonstrations, and presentations, creating optimal conditions for sales success.
- Collaborate seamlessly with the sales team, ensuring a smooth transition of qualified leads.
- Maintain meticulous and up-to-date records of interactions and activities in our CRM system.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning, staying abreast of product updates and industry trends.
- Strive to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly lead generation targets.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience in sales development is required.
- Exhibit outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to proactively engage prospects and build strong rapport.
- Possess exceptional organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrated results-oriented mindset with a track record of consistently meeting or surpassing targets.
- Ability to thrive both independently and as a valuable member of a collaborative team.
- Proficient in Salesforce, Outreach, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Familiarity with the office furniture, architecture, or real estate industry is highly advantageous
