  • Develop and validate propulsion system LO architectures that meet performance, LO signature, and thermal management requirements

  • Conduct trade studies, signature modeling, and sensitivity analyses for inlet, nozzle, and exhaust treatments

  • Interface with aerodynamicists, structures, materials, thermal management, and signature engineering teams to ensure cohesive design solutions

  • Define requirements, perform risk assessments, and establish verification/validation plans for propulsion integration items

  • Support hardware design reviews (PDR/CDR), test planning, and ground/flight test execution to verify LO and propulsion performance

  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the LO discipline

  • Produce and review technical documentation, specifications, and interface control documents (ICDs)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

  • 5+ years of related work experience and a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of related work experience and technical education

  • Demonstrated experience with propulsion integration on low-observable or stealth aircraft programs

  • Strong understanding of LO fundamentals: radar cross-section (RCS) control, IR signature management, and materials/coatings impacts

  • Hands-on experience with inlet/nozzle design, exhaust suppression/infrared reduction techniques, and internal/external flow path management

  • Proficiency with LO propulsion/airframe integration analyses and tools (e.g., CEM, signature modeling, thermal analysis)

  • Experience creating technical specifications, interface requirements, and verification plans

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

  • Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in relevant field

  • Experience with multidisciplinary design optimization (MDO) and integrated signatures analysis tools

  • Familiarity with materials for LO applications and manufacturing/assembly constraints

  • Propulsion integration and systems engineering

  • LO signature control (RCS and IR)

  • Signature modeling/data reduction software experience

  • Test planning and flight test support

  • Requirements development and ICD creation

  • Special Access experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work collaboratively across teams
