American Ambulance provides a full range of emergent and non-emergent medical transportation services by highly trained professionals to ensure safe, quick, and compassionate patient care. Your Impact: The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is a critical and essential member of the Operations team. The main role of the EMT is to provide Basic Life Support patient care and medical transportation in accordance with protocol and company policy/procedure. An EMT’s duties also may include inter-facility transports, non-emergency calls and emergency calls. An EMT uses exceptional teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills to provide the highest level of care to patients. As an ambassador of American Ambulance, the EMT interacts externally with the general public, various first responder agencies, health care providers and hospital personnel, and internally across all departments with a focus on EMS operational team members including dispatch / scheduling.
