We are looking for a highly motivated and hospitality-driven Contract Swim Instructor I Garden City to join our team.
WHAT YOU WILL DO

Conduct swim lessons for children ages 3 and above.

Structure an hour-long class, which may be adaptable for two groups: 3-5 years and 6 years and above, with each group having a half-hour session.

Develop and implement age-appropriate swimming lessons, focusing on water safety and skill development for young learners.

Maintain a safe and controlled environment during swim sessions, emphasizing water safety protocols.

Evaluate and track individual progress, providing constructive feedback to both children and their guardians regarding skill improvements.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

High school diploma or GED.

A minimum of 1 year experience directly relevant to the job responsibilities outlined.

Lifeguard/CPR/First Aid/AED certification.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution above the minimum education requirement may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.

Proficiency in applying first aid procedures.

Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to collaborate effectively within a diverse community.

Strong records maintenance skills with the ability to complete routine administrative tasks efficiently.

Familiarity with swim training and educational methods.
