Description

Job Coaches in our Supported Employment program provide support and skills-training to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities in an employment setting within the community (Catskill and surrounding areas). This is an ideal role for a motivated, self-starter who is able to work independently, and develop and foster relationships with our community partners. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must in this highly visible position.

A high school diploma/GED, a minimum of one year of experience working with persons with disabilities, and an acceptable NYS Driver's License are required. Must be Van certifiable and have basic computer knowledge. We provide training for the certification indicated above.

HOURS: 40/Monday through Sunday/must be flexible

STARTING SALARY: $ 22.88 to $ 25.17 per hour

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED is required

  • One year of experience working with people with disabilities

  • Acceptable NYS Driver's License

  • Computer skills
