Position: HS Speech Coach
Job Description:
Overview:Saydel High School is seeking a dedicated Speech Coach to lead and mentor students in both individual/small group and large group speech competitions. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for speech and debate, and the ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential. Individual will need to be familiar with Iowa High School Speech Association rules and regulations.
Responsibilities:

Coach Development:Provide comprehensive coaching to students participating in individual/small group and large group speech competitions, focusing on various categories such as persuasive speaking, dramatic interpretation, humorous interpretation, storytelling, and debate.

Curriculum Development:Develop and implement a structured curriculum to enhance students' speech and communication skills, tailored to individual and group needs.

Training Sessions:Conduct regular training sessions to refine students' public speaking techniques, voice projection, articulation, and stage presence.

Individualized Feedback:Offer personalized feedback and constructive criticism to students, emphasizing areas for improvement and strategies for enhancement.
