In this hands-on role, you will focus on the fabrication, assembly, and testing of high-quality fiber optic cables and components that directly support Sub-critical Experiments and collaborating National Weapons Laboratories. • Work with basic hand tools, powered tools, and fiber optic test equipment (such as RL/IL testers, OTDRs, and microscopes).

  • Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and scientists to complete projects on time.

  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

  • Read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and procedures.

  • Ability to work well in a team environment and take direction.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

  • Ability to follow safety protocols and work independently when needed.

  • This is a great opportunity to grow your career in fiber optics while contributing to important national security work. If you’re a motivated team player who takes pride in hands-on technical work, we encourage you to apply.
