DESCRIPTION:
Rush-Henrietta is seeking an extended substitute ELA teacher from 10/1/26-1/4/27. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong knowledge of the English curriculum and the developmental needs of adolescent students. The candidates will be expected to utilize a variety of instructional methods and culturally responsive practices to engage learners of all ability levels; to support and strengthen students' reading, thinking and writing skills; to assess student progress on an ongoing basis; and to integrate instructional technology.
SALARY:
Highly competitive, based on experience and graduate credits, per Rush-Henrietta Central School District Teachers' Contract.
QUALIFICATIONS:
New York State Teaching Certification in English 7-12 is required.
