$10,000 Sign-On Bonus for Full-Time OTs Only

Full-Time or Per Diem | Monmouth, Middlesex, Somerset & Union Counties, NJ

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide one-on-one home health visits to adult and geriatric patients throughout Monmouth, Middlesex, Somerset, and Union Counties.

Responsibilities

As a Home Health Occupational Therapist, you will:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in their homes

  • Complete comprehensive evaluations of patients' functional abilities, including:

  • Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)

  • Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs)

  • Strength, endurance, coordination, balance, and mobility

  • Cognitive, psychological, sensory, and motor function

  • Develop individualized treatment plans designed to maximize independence and safety

  • Assess home environments and recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications

  • Implement therapeutic interventions that improve function and quality of life

  • Collaborate with nursing and the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care

  • Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on therapeutic techniques, home safety, and strategies to promote independence

  • Reassess patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate

  • Complete accurate and timely electronic documentation using an EMR system

Qualifications

  • Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the State of New Jersey

  • Minimum of one year of recent Occupational Therapy experience

  • Home Health experience preferred, but not required

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program

  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities

  • Comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR)

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team

  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Monmouth, Middlesex, Somerset, and Union Counties

Additional Information

Base Pay, depending upon qualifications, status, and subject to negotiation:

Full-Time

  • $70.00–$75.00 per point ($109,200- $117,000 annual earning potential)

Per Diem

  • $75.00–$80.00 per point

$10,000 Sign-On Bonus for Full-Time OTs Only
