Job Summary and Responsibilities

CommonSpirt is seeking a skilled and patient-focused CT/X-Ray Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team to work a 13 week contract at a respected hospital in Wilmington, Ohio. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both Computed Tomography (CT) and Diagnostic Radiography (X-Ray) and will provide high-quality imaging services to emergency, inpatient, and outpatient populations.

This position requires flexibility, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Job Requirements

The 13 week contract consists of three 12-hour shifts per week:

Day and night shift opportunties are available.

Additional Requirements

On-call rotation is required.

Weekend coverage may be required based on patient volumes and staffing needs.

Candidates must maintain flexibility with scheduling and be willing to adjust shifts as operational needs dictate.

Essential Responsibilities

Perform CT and diagnostic X-ray examinations in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.

Provide imaging support for emergency department, inpatient, surgical, and outpatient services.

Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper identification throughout all procedures.

Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining image quality standards.

Accurately document procedures within the electronic medical record.

Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team.

Adhere to all hospital policies, radiation safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required.

CT certification (ARRT CT) or demonstrated CT proficiency required.

Current state licensure, if applicable.

BLS certification required.

Previous hospital imaging experience preferred.

Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills.

$65.00 - $65.00 /hour
