Job Summary and Qualifications
An Occupational Therapist evaluates patient needs, builds custom recovery plans, and provides evidence-based care to restore daily living skills. They track progress, document outcomes, and work with medical teams in acute, rehab, or home health settings.

Patient Evaluation: Assess functional abilities and define tailored treatment goals.

Education: Teach patients and families safe practices for home and daily life.

Key Qualifications

Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an approved program.

Experience: A min of 2 years of work experience required, pref in an acute care setting

Licensure: Active state occupational therapy license (e.g. a Florida OT license).

Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.

Skills: Strong critical thinking, communication, and basic computer proficiency.
