The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with hands-on manufacturing knowledge and a passion for continuous improvement in both design and production processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and Development of Electrical Systems

a. Support, Develop and optimize Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) for AC motors and DC motor controllers for DC motor applications.

b. Design, integrate and Diagnose CAN-based communication architectures that support deterministic data exchange between motor controllers, sensors.

c. Support motor design activities

  • Performance Analysis

  • Evaluating how the motor behaves under different operating conditions (speed, torque, load).

  • Using tools like MATLAB/Simulink or Ansys Maxwell to simulate motor efficiency, thermal performance, and electromagnetic characteristics.

  • Control Algorithm Development

  • Creating or refining algorithms that control motor speed, torque, and position.

  • Implementing algorithms in VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives) or DC motor controllers.

  • Ensuring smooth acceleration, deceleration, and fault protection using techniques like PID control, vector control, or field-oriented control (FOC).

Testing and Validation

a. Conduct hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and system-level testing for VFD and DC motor controller

b. Validate designs against industry standards for safety, reliability, and electromagnetic compatibility.

c. Develop and maintain test plans, instructions, and scripts ( Python , C++) to ensure product durability and performance.

Manufacturing and Integration
