Full job description
As a C&B Operations Associate, you will play a key role in receiving and processing truck deliveries to ensure merchandise is efficiently moved from the loading area to the sales floor and stockroom. Reporting to the Assistant Store Leader, you will safely operate pallet lifts and other equipment to unload, organize, and stage merchandise, accurately process incoming inventory, and maintain an organized, well-stocked backroom. You will work closely with the store team to replenish product, support inventory accuracy, and help ensure merchandise is available for customers in a timely manner. Success in this fast-paced role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, the ability to safely lift and move merchandise, and a commitment to following company safety procedures and operational standards. Receive, unload, and process truck deliveries safely and efficiently using pallet lifts and other approved equipment.

Lift, move, organize, and stage merchandise throughout the stockroom and sales floor, handling heavy freight throughout the shift.

Accurately sort, ticket, and process incoming merchandise to ensure inventory is received and available for replenishment.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stockroom that supports efficient truck processing and inventory management.

Replenish merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor to ensure products are stocked and available for customers.

Assist with inventory preparation, cycle counts, stock checks, and other inventory control processes to maintain accuracy.

Follow all safety procedures and operational standards when lifting, moving, and storing merchandise.

Support the processing of customer fulfillment orders, including Buy Online, Pick Up In Store (BOPIS), Ship from Store, and curbside pickup, as needed.

Work collaboratively with the store leadership and operations team to complete truck processing goals and daily operational priorities.

Maintain awareness of loss prevention and security procedures while handling merchandise.

Provide friendly customer service and assist customers on the sales floor as needed while prioritizing operational responsibilities.

Support visual merchandising standards by replenishing merchandise and ensuring displays remain full and presentation-ready.

Contribute to a positive team environment by demonstrating flexibility, reliability, and a strong work ethic in a fast-paced, physically demanding role.

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with customers and other associates

General office equipment, including computer and printer, Point of Sale (POS) system, AS400 system, company email system, company learning management system, telephone/intercom system, copier, fax machine, SKU and tagger guns, tape machine, small hand tools, ladders, step stools, hand truck/dolly, baler, calculator, electronic two-way radio with earpiece

Good reading and written language skills (English), strong communication skills, basic arithmetic, interpersonal skills, telephone presence, data entry skills

Ability to work in a flexible environment, shift quickly as our business evolves, and focus on continuous learning
