Clinical Psychologist – Naval Health Clinic Oak Harbor, WA
Reports To: TBD
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 0700–1630 (8.5–9 hour shifts, max 80 hours per two-week period)
Summary:
Provide psychological assessment, diagnosis, and therapy services to active-duty military personnel and other beneficiaries. Work within a multidisciplinary team to support mental health and wellness in a military clinical setting.
Qualifications:

Education: PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program; completion of APA-accredited internship.

Licensure: Current, unrestricted license in any U.S. state or territory.

Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Experience: Sufficient to meet clinical competency requirements for credentialing.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychological evaluations, testing, and interviews.
-
Diagnose per DSM-5 and provide individual and group therapy.
-
Support patients coping with illness, injury, or rehabilitation.

Maintain accurate documentation in systems such as AHLTA and MHS Genesis.
-
Participate in peer review, training, and performance improvement activities.
-
Adhere to ethical, legal, safety, and infection control standards.
-
Engage in continuing education and annual mandatory trainings.
-
Support Family Advocacy and other command programs as needed.
Monday through Friday, between the hours of 0700 and 1630 hours. Shifts will normally be scheduled for an 8.5-to-9-hour period, to include an uncompensated 30 to 60 minute lunch break

Coverage window: 07:00–16:30
