Kids First is a growing multidisciplinary pediatric therapy clinic in Rockland County, NY, providing comprehensive services including behavioral health, speech therapy, and occupational therapy.
We are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our Behavioral Health team and provide psychiatric evaluation and medication management services for children and adolescents.
This is an exciting opportunity for a clinician who enjoys working collaboratively and wants to be part of a supportive, multidisciplinary environment focused on helping children and families thrive.
Responsibilities:

Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments for children and adolescents

Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric follow-up care

Develop individualized treatment recommendations in collaboration with families and treatment teams

Monitor treatment effectiveness and adjust interventions as clinically appropriate

Collaborate with therapists, social workers, and other pediatric providers to ensure coordinated care

Provide psychoeducation and support to parents/caregivers
-
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
Qualifications:

Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in New York State

Experience working with children, adolescents, and families preferred

Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively

Compassionate, family-centered approach to care
