HR Coordinator

The Opportunity

FCA is excited to announce an opportunity for the position of HR Coordinator. FCA is seeking a dynamic and relationship-driven HR Coordinator to play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting employees and organizational effectiveness.

This role will partner closely with leadership and staff to ensure smooth HR operations, support employee lifecycle processes, and maintain compliance with applicable employment laws and organizational policies.

Specifically, the responsibilities and qualifications of the position include:

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a positive employee experience

  • Maintain accurate employee records and manage HRIS data entry and updates

  • Assist with benefits administration, enrollments, and employee inquiries

  • Track and support leave administration (FMLA, PFL, STD, etc.)

  • Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs

  • Prepare HR documentation including employment letters, status changes, and reports

  • Support compliance efforts including audits, training, and policy acknowledgments

  • Assist with employee relations matters, documentation, and follow-up

  • Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred

  • 2-4 years of HR experience in an administrative or generalist capacity

  • Strong knowledge of employment laws (EEOC, FLSA, NYS labor law preferred)

  • Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Dayforce or similar)

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Valid and clean New York State Driver's License.

Compensation Information

  • The competitive compensation range is reflected with FCA's framework, culture, and values. Individual pay decisions will vary based on skills and experience, while still allowing for growth.

Additional Information

  • Salary: $50,000

  • Schedule: (M-F), evening and weekend hours, as needed

  • This role is full-time (35 hours/week), Exempt
