Pay:

The level II Industrial Electrician pay is $38.25. Applicants with higher level experience will be evaluated for alternate level (III). 5% Shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Job Summary:

Works as a skilled trades electrician on the production equipment.

Job Duties/ Responsibilities:

  • Operate Mobile CMMS Device for Reactive Calls - and Preventive Maintenance assignments.

  • Must be able to troubleshoot PLC protocols- (profibus, Profinet, Modbus, ethernet)

  • Must adhere to electrical safety requirements in a manufacturing environment.

  • Responsible for troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.

  • Able to troubleshoot using electrical drawings.

  • Able to troubleshoot CNC control systems.

  • Install and Adjust Light Curtain,

  • Install and Program Laser Distance Sensors

  • Able to Troubleshoot Machine Safety Circuits

  • Robotics – Able to Home Robot, Troubleshoot, Pendent Navigation

  • Edit Robot Touch Points in the programming.

  • Save/Restore robot programs/images

  • Able to Home Robots using pendent

  • Pyrometry Skillset Training – Shim Test, Carburizing furnace operation sequences. (Gear Department)

  • Must work in safe & efficient manner to minimize injuries and equipment damage or down time.

  • Must comply with Electrical PM programs and procedures.

  • Complete Electrical PM Inspections, Wire Harness, Filters, Cable Management

  • Maintain technical knowledge of National Electrical Standard by attending educational workshops, formal training, reviewing professional publications, establishing, and expanding professional networks, and participating in professional societies.

  • Comply with all IATF policies and procedures.

  • Work independently and in a team-based environment.

  • Able to retain Information to improve efficiencies and skillset

  • Works well with others in a team environment and demonstrates leadership attributes

  • Accept direction from various members of the management team.

  • Must be able to train/mentor new electricians

  • Work with outside vendors and contractors as assigned.

  • Provide input into plant RCA process (Root Cause Analysis)

  • Provide input for periodic PM reviews- Machine Reliability

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of five (5) years verified Industrial Electrical experience. Candidates with at least three (3) years of verified experience who can demonstrate proficiency in all areas listed above may be considered for early promotion.

  • Must be able to troubleshoot and have a good understanding of automated manufacturing equipment.

  • Understanding of mechanics of machine functionality.

  • Understanding and knowledge of conveyors, automation, and mechanical systems.

  • Must meet state requirements.

  • Must understand and follow all ARC flash regulations and practices.

  • Must have up-to-date technological training and experience of newer state-of-the-art equipment.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of the job, the associate is exposed to an engineering lab atmosphere with some office exposure. The engineering lab includes a machine shop, where the associate is exposed to potentially hazardous equipment and moderate to high noise levels, both requiring the use of protective equipment to ensure the safety of the associate.
