Citi Trends is looking for a dedicated DC Supervisor to join our team at one of the largest chains in the value-priced urban apparel industry. We're growing, so if you've ever wanted a chance to lead the way, this is it.
SUMMARY: Responsible for an area of the DC such as receiving, shipping, packing, or processing. Responsible for the daily operation of their assigned department by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Makes work assignments to associates

Plans daily activity based on work on hand plus anticipated new work

Plans staff needs with management and requests new hires and temporary labor as needed

Trains associates on current work procedures

Answers questions from associates. Brings issues to management and/or Human Resources as required

Monitors attendance, punctuality, production rates and quality for each associate. Councils and corrects as required

Monitors work flow and backlog and takes appropriate action to remedy any problems

Handles special projects and assignments as needed

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school degree, GED, 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
