At Huntington Living Center, we are actively seeking compassionate and dedicated RN Supervisors to join our team. As an RN at Huntington, you'll be part of a supportive community of empathetic leaders focused on helping you succeed and grow in your career.
We are currently offering the following shifts and statuses:

Full-Time Evening: 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm, 72 hours per pay period

Part-Time Night: 11:00 pm – 7:00 am, 40 hours per pay period

Limited Part-Time: Variable Hours
-
Per Diem: Flexible shifts available (7:00 am – 3:00 pm, 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm, and 11:00 pm – 7:00 am). Per Diem staff are required to work 24 hours per month, with 2 shifts on weekends and 1 summer and 1 winter holiday per year.

Limited Part-Time (Weekends Only): 7:00 am – 3:00 pm, 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm, 11:00 pm – 7:00 am
Qualifications:

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of registered professional nursing

Preferred: BSN
-
License: New York State Registered Professional Nurse Licensure

Experience: Minimum one year of nursing experience (preferred experience in long-term care and/or supervisory roles)

Key Skills:

Strong ability to collaborate with medical staff, department managers, ancillary services, and customers in a professional manner

Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and verbal)

Proven ability to remain calm and manage stressful situations with professionalism

Skilled in clinical management, managing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines, and fostering teamwork

Familiarity with NYSDOH requirements

Strong organizational and analytical abilities

Computer literate
Key Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Director of Nursing - LTC, you will oversee the daily operations of the nursing units and provide clinical supervision to employees, either personally or through subordinates. You will ensure the highest level of patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
