Overview
We're looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to design and develop circuits and control
systems for robotics. In this role, you'll work closely with the mechanical team to integrate
electrical components into the robot's physical structure, test and optimize these systems to
meet performance requirements, and ensure the real-time operational reliability of our AI-driven robotic systems. You'll also troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during both development and deployment.
Your Responsibilities
This role may require an extended assignment in the EU for onboarding and to support ongoing European operations.
Electrical System Design & Development

Design and develop electrical systems, wiring harnesses, and control architectures for robotic platforms.

Select and integrate sensors, actuators, motor controllers, power distribution, and embedded electronics.

Develop electrical schematics, documentation, and support new product development from prototype through production.

Collaborate closely with mechanical, software, and robotics engineers to ensure seamless system integration.
Testing & Validation
-
Build, test, and validate electrical systems to ensure performance, reliability, and safety.

Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues during development, manufacturing, and customer deployments.

Perform root cause analysis and implement improvements to increase system robustness.
Product Improvement & Cross-Functional Support
-
Drive improvements in electrical system performance, manufacturability, reliability, and cost.
-
Support BOM updates, engineering changes, and component selection with procurement and manufacturing teams.

Assist deployment teams with system commissioning and occasional onsite troubleshooting at customer locations.

Contribute to engineering documentation, standards, and best practices as the North American organization grows.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
-
Completed training or studies in the field of electrics, electrical engineering or a comparable discipline

3+ years of experience in designing electrical systems for robotics or similar fields.
Skills
-
Experience with control systems, sensors, actuators, and electrical components.

Knowledge of embedded systems and circuit design software.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range: USD $115,000 – $150,000 (actual pay based on skills, experience, and
location)
