Role Summary
We are looking for a hands-on, field engineer to test, operate, maintain, repair, and refurbish high-performance autonomous off-road ground vehicles. In this role, you will support frequent (weekly) field tests, design and fabricate components or modify existing parts for off-road vehicles, and assume responsibility for safe and efficient field operation of heavy machinery and complex equipment. This role is for someone who is most comfortable hands-on with vehicles, thrives in the field, and knows how to keep machines running when conditions are far from ideal.
Minimum Qualifications

BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or similar field, or 3+ years equivalent work experience.

Experience working hands-on with machine shop tools and welding. Desired Experience & Qualifications

Experience working with off-road vehicle operations

Strong experience with vehicle maintenance, modifications, operations.

Proficiency working with metal and woodworking tools.

Strong ability to collaborate and solve problems quickly, often in the field.
