Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Support: Conduct all aspects of radiation therapy physics, ensuring high-quality patient care.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with NRC and state regulations, as well as ACRO and AAPM guidelines.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the physics team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Facility and Equipment:

  • Varian Linacs: EDGE (New), Trilogy, Varisource HDR

  • GE Lightspeed CT Simulator

  • Software: Aria-EMR, Eclipse-Planning, Rad Calc, RPM motion management system

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: A Master's or PhD degree in Medical Physics

  • Experience: Five (5) years of clinical experience is required.

  • Certification: American Board of Radiology in Radiation Therapy Physics or Radiological Physics

Must meet qualified expert criteria defined by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and/or State radiation agency.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

  • American Board of Radiology - Therapeutic Medical Physics

  • Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal

  • Act 33 with renewal

  • Act 34 with renewal

  • Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
