The Shenandoah Community School District is accepting applications for the position of Associate K-8 for the 2026-2027 school year. Ideal candidates will have experience working with students and must have excellent communication skills. Associates work one-to-one with a student or with a small group of students under the direction of the classroom or special education teacher. The position is assigned to work on days when school is in session and on specified professional development training. Applicants must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalency and be able to pass a background check, which includes criminal history, sex offender registry, child and dependent adult abuse registry, and a motor vehicle records check. The position includes partially paid health insurance and other benefits available at reasonable rates.
