Now Hiring: Part-Time Tutors We’re seeking part-time tutors to join our team at Sylvan Learning of Glendora! In this role, you’ll inspire and guide students in a small-group setting, making learning both engaging and effective. This job is not remote Responsibilities: * Inspire students through enthusiastic and engaging teaching methods * Build rapport and create a fun, supportive learning environment * Provide instruction in K–12 Reading and Math, including Algebra I/II, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Calculus Qualifications * Training provided – we’ll give you the tools you need to succeed! * Strong communication skills * Ability to manage multiple students at once * Bachelor’s degree and/or teaching/tutoring experience preferred Schedule & Hours * Up to 20 hours per week * After-school and Saturday availability required * Monday–Thursday: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM * Saturday: 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM What We Offer * Competitive pay: $19-20/hour + incentives for on-campus tutoring (when available) * Sick pay benefits * Flexible scheduling * Ongoing training and professional development * The opportunity to make a lasting impact on students’ lives Apply today and help students reach their full potential!
