What You'll Do

Manage construction inspection assignments for roadway, bridge, and infrastructure projects

Lead, mentor, and oversee Resident Engineers, inspectors, and field staff

Serve as the primary client contact for NJDOT, county, and municipal projects

Oversee project budgets, schedules, staffing, and overall performance

Ensure compliance with contract requirements, specifications, and safety standards

Review daily reports, change orders, and contractor progress

Support business development, including proposals and client engagement What You'll Bring:

8-15+ years of construction inspection or construction management experience

Prior experience managing NJDOT or similar transportation projects strongly preferred

Strong leadership and client-facing skills

NICET certification, PE license, or EIT preferred

Solid understanding of roadway, bridge, and infrastructure construction practices

Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously

Requirements

Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final consideration

Read, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English language

Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team members

Able to traverse a construction job site consisting of uneven ground varying in height and consistency of material, with a variation of elevation 19" or less (mud, gravel, rutted ground, etc.)

Able to wear GPI required PPE, i.e., hard hats, safety vest, work boots, and/or safety glasses/goggles while working

Able to move equipment or inspection specimens weighing up to 50 pounds
