About the Role
As a Respiratory Therapist with Apria, you’ll provide essential respiratory care, equipment setup, patient education, and ongoing clinical support for patients in their homes. You’ll play a key role in ensuring safe transitions from hospital to home and supporting patients as they regain independence and confidence using their respiratory equipment.
You will report directly to the Branch Manager, and work closely with a collaborative team including Coordinators, RTs, Techs, and clinical leaders.

Hybrid-style role: ~60% in the branch, ~40% in the field

Strong hourly range: $28.50–$30.00/hr. (higher end for hospital RT experience)

Supportive branch environment

Predictable schedule: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

Mileage and travel reimbursement available based on company policy

Opportunity to work closely with physicians, discharge planners & case managers

Open to new grads with active WI licensure
Schedule

Hours: 9:00 AM–5:30 PM ~ flexibility if needed

Environment: Must check in at the branch daily; flexibility based on patient needs and hospital discharges
On‑Call Transparency

Rotation is area‑based , not branch‑based

Coverage areas include:

New Berlin
-
Green Bay
-
Rotation frequency: Every 3rd week , Monday–Sunday
Salary Range
$28.50–$30.00 per hour
Higher range considered for RTs with strong hospital experience.
What You’ll Do
-
Conduct home visits to perform oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment setups and follow‑ups
-
Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintenance
-
Assess patient needs, document care delivered, and escalate concerns appropriately
-
Respond to hospital discharge requests and support same‑day patient needs
-
Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and internal branch teams
-
Maintain accurate documentation using iPad/laptop
-
Ensure all actions meet regulatory and safety standards
Required
-
Registered Respiratory Therapist with an active Wisconsin RT license
-
Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Valid driver’s license
-
Personal vehicle (no company car provided at this time)

Excellent bedside manner and strong customer service orientation
-
Comfort using mobile technology, navigation tools, and digital documentation

Open to new grads; hospital experience preferred but not required
