The ideal candidate is highly proficient in 3D CAD, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with close collaboration across EE, ME, and Manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain 3D wire harness routing within system-level assemblies

  • Create 2D harness drawings, flatten layouts, and manufacturing documentation

  • Define connector selection, backshells, strain reliefs, and mounting features

  • Collaborate with EE to translate schematics into physical harness designs

  • Ensure proper bend radius, shielding, separation, and routing best practices in line with EWIS/USCAR standards

  • Support BOM creation and part selection for harness and connector components

  • Coordinate with suppliers and contract manufacturers for DFM feedback

  • Update models and drawings based on prototype learnings and MFG feedback

  • Maintain revision control and proper documentation in PLM systems
