We specialize in four areas including custom machinery, precision fabrication, automated systems for medical device manufacturing, and contract manufacturing. Keller delivers sophisticated manufacturing solutions for many industries including Engineered Materials, Semiconductors, Robotics, Chemicals, Medical and Life Science, Energy Research, and Industrial Technologies.

We are currently seeking to fill the following position for our Buffalo location.

Grinder/Polisher

We are looking for a highly motivated, well organized, team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. High degree of ownership, and desire to make those around you better.

General Description:

Deburr and polish steel or aluminum parts per print specifications and in conformance to customer's specifications.

Primary Job Functions:

  • Remove burrs from machined components

  • Polish surfaces to customer/print specifications

  • Able to learn and follow directions

  • Adherence to company policies and ISO Standards

  • Install Helicoils and/or Keenserts into parts

  • Clean/wash parts as needed

  • Provide assistance in all departments as required by KTC management

Qualifications

Skills Required

  • Basic mechanical skills

  • Ability to use a variety of pneumatic tools

  • Able to wear PPE and adhere to company policies and procedures

  • Can read prints and follow customer’s specifications

  • Experience using overhead cranes preferred. Training will be provided.

  • Ability to read and comprehend mechanical / pneumatic blueprints preferred

  • Experience with other metal working machinery preferred

  • Basic computer knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite

Experience: One year in a manufacturing environment and/or in a related position

Education: Minimum high school graduate

Pay: $20 - $23/hour
