Responsibilities

Garnet Health Doctors is seeking a dynamic, compassionate Psychiatrist to join our Emergency/Access Center Psychiatry team at our state-of-the-art locations in Middletown and Harris, New York . This is an outstanding opportunity to practice in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment while caring for a diverse patient population.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry

  • Eligible for an unrestricted New York State medical license

  • Graduating Psychiatry residents are encouraged to apply

  • Leadership and academic opportunities available through our ACGME-accredited Psychiatry Residency Program

Qualifications

Minimum Education

  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) from an accredited medical school

  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Psychiatry residency program in the United States

Experience

  • Graduating Psychiatry residents are encouraged to apply.

Licensure & Certifications

  • Active New York State Medical License (or eligibility)

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry (Board Certification required within five years of residency completion)

  • DEA Registration (New York State)

  • New York State Infection Control Certification

  • BLS Certification required; ACLS preferred

  • ECFMG Certification, if applicable
