Job Summary:
HCA Healthcare is seeking full-time and PRN Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our team at HCA Florida Raulerson Hospital in Okeechobee, Florida.
QUALIFIED CANDIDATES
-
Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
-
Will consider Board-Certified Family Medicine (ABFM) or Board-Certified Internal Medicine (ABIM) with at least 24 months of current Emergency Medicine experience

Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
-
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
-
PRN must be available to work 288 hrs./yr.

30,000 Emergency Medicine visits per year

14-bed Emergency Department, including 3 fast-track including 2 dedicated trauma rooms

Multi-million dollar expansion starting in early spring 2026 adding 11 additional bays, 2 behavioral health safe rooms, dedicated physician workspace

20% admission rate
-
24 hours of physician coverage

24 hours of APP coverage

Active partnership with sister facility in close proximity for Trauma, OB, Neurosurgery, Vascular Surgery and Pediatric support/transfers
