Job Description:
The Set-Up Technician supports the production needs of the operation by setting up, adjusting, and troubleshooting machines with assistance and/or direction from management or qualified associates.
Duties and Responsibilities
-
Set-up, operate, and maintain equipmentas needed to support operations
-
Make professional and lasting modifications and repairs to existing equipmentwith direction from management or qualified associates
-
Responsible for cosmetic criteria as specified and communicating criteria to employees
-
Relay pertinent product and quality related information to Operators, Inspectors, Supervisors, and peers, in bothwritten and verbalforms
-
Documentation of production, maintenance, and QC audits performed
-
Organizing and maintaining the order and cleanliness of equipment, storage areas andthedepartment as a whole
-
Other duties and projects, as required by production and business need
Education, Skills, and Experience:
-
High SchoolDiploma or equivalent required
-
Previous manufacturing experience preferred
-
Successful completion of Mechanical Aptitude test
-
Established ability to identify and communicate issues and offer proposed solutions
-
Greatattention to detailis required
-
Ability to manage interruptions in a professional and respectful manner is essential

Above basic math skills and reasoning ability

Moderate computer and Microsoft Office skills

Forklift certification
