• Design and build software components that power Auger's supply chain solutions, including real-time data pipelines, APIs, and AI-powered tools.

• Solve real technical challenges in scalability, performance, and data integration, from optimizing logistics algorithms to improving platform responsiveness.

• Work closely with engineers, data scientists, and product managers to ship solutions that hold up beyond the first customer.

• Own your projects end to end, gaining hands-on exposure to cloud computing, AI, and modern software practices along the way.

Specific qualifications we are looking for:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 3+ years of professional software development experience, with expertise in Java or Python.

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and distributed systems.

• Experience building scalable SaaS platforms or enterprise applications.

• Ability to work in person from our Bellevue headquarters, and to participate in on-call rotations.

• Comfort working through ambiguity with urgency, patience, and good humor.

• A track record of building things on your own time, whether side projects, open-source contributions, or anything that shows you love to build and learn.

• Knowledge of supply chain systems or logistics is a plus, as is familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), databases (SQL or NoSQL), or real-time streaming platforms (Kafka, Flink). Your initial placement within our salary range will be based on your experience, qualifications. The base pay range for this role is $150,000 – $200,000 per year.
