Physical Therapist
Join the team at South Shore Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in Rockland, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care as a Physical Therapist!
Up to $50 an hour with weekly pay. Up to a $5,000 sign-on bonus available.* South Shore is a 96-bed skilled nursing facility.
Full-time, part-time, and per diem openings.
Your Role
As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation to a general rehab caseload. You will also participate in the clinical team process, provide teaching and training to caregiver staff, and supervise other therapists, assistants, aides, and students as required.
Responsibilities

Screen patients/residents and evaluate them to develop appropriate care plans
-
Provide direct resident treatment in accordance with established plans of care
-
Consult with and train patients, residents, and caregivers
-
Contribute to the team meeting and decision-making process
-
Monitor efficiencies and document activities in a timely manner
-
Demonstrate consistent knowledge of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations
-
Communicate effectively with patients, residents, team members, customers, and supervisor

Comply with facility Privacy Practices policies and procedures
Requirements
-
Bachelor of Science Degree, Master of Science, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy required
-
Active and unencumbered PT license in Massachusetts required
-
Ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems and interact effectively with all levels of staff and customers
-
Ability to perform documentation needs, manipulations of equipment, and direct patient care
-
Standing and walking for significant amounts of time is necessary
