Full job description

RESPONSIBILITIES

I. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepares and performs a variety of CT procedures.

  • Provides patient care during procedures.

II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking.

  • Frequent: sitting, walking, stooping/bending, lifting weight up to maximum weight of 50 pounds, carrying usual weight of 50 pounds, reaching above shoulder level, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods.

  • Occasional: standing, kneeling, squatting, twisting body, carrying usual weight of 25 pounds.

  • Infrequent: pushing/pulling maximum weight of 50 pounds of force.

III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions.

  • Exposed to communicable diseases.

IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:

  • Current Hawaii State license as Radiologic Technologist.

  • Current certification in Computed Tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).

  • Current BLS certification.

B. EXPERIENCE:

  • One (1) experience in CT preferred.

  • Experience to demonstrate:

o In-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively communicate with the Medical Staff.

o Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
