Salary Range: $19.60 To $26.96 Hourly
Primary Objective:
The Deburr Technician II will work from drawings and/or written instructions and tool sheets to properly deburr parts.
Major Areas of Accountability

Performs daily deburring activities using a variety of hand tools and machinery. Regularly uses a microscope to view, inspect and deburr parts.

Performs transactions in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems as necessary.

Regularly uses microscope and other high end measuring equipment to view and inspect parts
-
Verifies conformance of finished work to ensure compliance to tolerance and company specifications.

On occasion, performs other ancillary activities such as rework or repair of machined parts

May be required to load and operate Tumbling machine or other simple equipment

Periodically assists supervisor in evaluation and selection of new equipment.

Performs other related duties as directed.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Education
-
High school graduate; or
-
GED; or
-
BOCES Machine Shop classes; or
-
Skilled trade school graduate
Experience
-
2 years of deburring, finishing or industrial machine operation experience in a production environment

Blue print reading skills
-
Demonstrated problem solving skills

Demonstrated experience in order of operations

Inspection measuring equipment knowledge

This position requires access to “controlled technology” as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. §730 et. seq.) and “technical data” as defined in the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (22 C.F.R, Chapter 1, Subchapter M). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
