Salary: Per GUSTO Contract

Work Year: 2026-2027
Supervisor: Jen Hendrickson
Minimum Requirements:
-New York State Certified certification in social worker, school counseling, mental health, psychologist, or a similar certification is encouraged preferred
Desired Qualifications:
-Background in social work, school counseling, psychology, or sociology preferred
-Experience
-Must possess the ability to interact effectively with staff, students, and parents
-Must demonstrate professional demeanor
-Must possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills
-Must be punctual and dependable.
Position Summary/Responsibilities:
-Support essential building operations during absences for school counselors and social workers.
-Provide crisis support
-Assist with arrival and dismissal routines
-Facilitate lunch bunch groups
-Serve as a second team member during lethality assessments.
-Manage student behavior as needed
-Follow directions given by school administration and/or cooperating Mental Health staff
-Hours vary per building and assignment
