Full job description

Boundless Impact Research & Analytics is looking for a Marketing intern to assist in supporting our content creation and marketing efforts. The Marketing Intern is expected to work with the Boundless staff and leadership team to support communication and marketing activities, outreach, and the cultivation of existing and prospective customers.

The Marketing Intern can work flexibly for 20 hours per week, in close collaboration with the leadership team (Chief of Staff and CEO). This is an unpaid internship running from September 2026 through December 2026 or later (depending on availability). This marketing internship will suit candidates with strong communication and writing skills, who are passionate about the cleantech industry and/or climate actions, and who are looking for a high-impact internship working directly with the leadership team of a growing startup.

Boundless has completed assessments of dozens of cleantech products and projects —ranging from renewable energy, circular economy, HVAC and disinfection technologies, bioenergy and bioproducts, and innovative water and wastewater technologies. The resulting company reports frequently influenced investor decisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Write and copy-edit marketing materials (i.e., socials, newsletters, articles…)
  • Refine and implement online marketing campaigns through website, social and other marketing vehicles.
  • Develop customer and prospect engagement materials and activities.
  • Conduct data entry of prospective members/clients into HubSpot CRM and Mailchimp.
  • Assist in the organization and planning of events (webinars), managing marketing and outreach, and design programs.
  • Assist in drafting letters, emails, reports, and proposals.
  • Design visuals and marketing materials to support communication efforts (i.e., social posts, newsletters, webinars)
  • Conduct market research.
  • Support across all marketing activities as required. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • Strong research, analytical, and writing skills, with a focus on marketing copywriting.
  • Basic understanding and strong interest in environmental impact/sustainability measurement.
  • Demonstrated understanding of marketing actions.
  • Experience authoring or co-authoring marketing or advertising campaigns.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Autonomous and proactive.
  • Ability to complete tasks on tight deadlines with close attention to details and timelines.
  • Contributes to the team effort by accomplishing other related duties as required.
  • Positive attitude, entrepreneurial spirit, easy to work with. The candidate will be able to own projects and acquire a strong experience in supporting a fast-growing business across all marketing functions.
