Position Highlights

Casual as needed: 2-3 weekends in a 12-week timeframe / weekend coverage with call - Friday 7:30AM-5:00PM day shift and call until at least 8:00PM Sunday.

Lake Regional Healthcare is currently seeking Sonographers to deliver the best possible care in LRH’s patient-focused setting.

SUMMARY:

Performs quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures. Assists radiologist with ultrasound-guided interventional procedures. Able to assist fellow technologists with general diagnostic radiology in accordance with established standards and policies when the ultrasound schedule allows and as appropriate per licensure.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Graduate of an AMA approved ultrasound program or evidence of 3 years of ultrasound experience. Prior experience is preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSURE &/OR REGISTRATIONS:

Must have and maintain registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in abdomen, and OB/Gyn. If registry eligible, complete ARDMS abdomen, OB/Gyn and vascular as specified per ACR requirements in accordance with Lakes Regional Healthcare accreditation process.
