Join Our Team: Senior Safety & Security Advisor (Job Corps)
Location: Atterbury Position Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
About the Role
Are you a vigilant, high-energy leader who loves mentorship, community safety, and keeping environments secure? Our Job Corps Center is seeking an enthusiastic Safety & Security Advisor to shape our campus culture. In this active role, you will design the student safety experience—running routine security tours, leading incident investigations, and creating a supportive environment that keeps our campus secure while keeping young adults motivated, safe, and moving forward.
Your Impact & Key Responsibilities

Maintain Campus Security: Conduct routine center-wide security tours, manage visitor check-ins, and ensure absolute student accountability.

Investigate & Inspect: Lead investigations into accidents and incidents, write clear reports, conduct routine hazard inspections, and enforce OSHA guidelines.

Be the Frontline Responder: Respond swiftly to campus emergency requests, defuse conflicts, and assist dormitory staff with room searches and inspections.

Mentor Young Adults: Serve as a positive role model, teach career success standards, and guide student behavior with respect, courtesy, and clear boundaries.

Collaborate Across Campus: Partner with residential, recreation, and transportation departments to ensure seamless supervision and a pristine campus environment.
What You Bring to the Table

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required (Advanced degrees preferred).

Experience: Job Corps or related youth/community safety program experience is highly preferred.

Credentials: Must possess a valid in-state Driver’s License and meet company insurability standards.

Physical Ability: Active on-the-go role requiring sitting, standing, walking, climbing, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Professionalism: Strong communication skills, quick problem-solving abilities, and an unwavering commitment to integrity.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required. A minimum of one-year experience in military, law enforcement or security required. Must possess a valid in-State Driver’s License and meet Company insurability requirements.
