Position Summary:
The School of Media & Journalism at Arkansas State University is looking for a tenure-track Assistant Professor.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Teach undergraduate and graduate courses, including those in the AOS UG and Grad programs, provide graduate mentoring and thesis supervision, mentoring of undergraduate students for scholarly endeavors such as participation in Create@State, and to support enrollment demands across multiple degree programs.

Maintain the school's capacity for scholarship, curriculum development, accreditation activities, and student mentoring.

Fulfill departmental, college, and university service responsibilities requiring tenure-track faculty participation, which will reduce reliance on instructors.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge and ability to teach communication across platforms and produce research and/or creative activities appropriate to the discipline.
General Days/Hours:
Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
