Global Manufacturing Technology Leader – Healthcare Solutions
Build the manufacturing capabilities that bring healthcare innovations to scale
We are looking for a Global Manufacturing Technology Leader – Healthcare Solutions to lead the development and execution of manufacturing technology across our global Healthcare manufacturing network.
This is a highly visible leadership role for someone who knows how to take products and processes from development through scale-up, technology transfer, and successful commercial manufacturing .
You’ll partner across Technology, R&D, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to build robust, scalable manufacturing solutions that meet demanding quality, regulatory, operational, and customer requirements.
Just as importantly, you’ll help shape the future of our manufacturing capabilities by developing technical talent, advancing best practices across sites, and driving continuous improvement throughout the network.
This position reports to the Global Integrated Operations Leader, with functional guidance from the Global Technology Director.
What You’ll Do
Lead manufacturing technology and scale-up
-
Lead manufacturing technology activities supporting new product introduction (NPI), process scale-up, industrialization, and technology transfer into commercial manufacturing.

Drive execution of the asset and process strategy , including capacity planning, capital deployment, expansions, product transfers, and manufacturing readiness for new programs.

Ensure manufacturing processes consistently deliver against critical-to-quality (CTQ), regulatory, customer, and operational requirements .

Bring manufacturing expertise into early product development to strengthen design for manufacturability (DFM) and create effective scale-up strategies.
Advance operational excellence

Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing network with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity .

Improve yield and process capability while reducing waste and strengthening manufacturing performance.

Support the qualification and validation of new equipment, tooling, automation, and manufacturing processes .

Identify manufacturing risks early and put effective mitigation strategies in place.
Collaborate across functions and geographies

Partner with Technology Development, R&D, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Serve as a trusted technical leader who can connect development intent with the realities of commercial manufacturing.

Build alignment across teams, sites, and geographies to enable successful execution of complex manufacturing initiatives.
Build technical capability

Lead, coach, and develop Manufacturing Technology teams, strengthening both technical expertise and execution capability.

Drive standardization and deployment of manufacturing best practices across sites.

Foster a culture centered on technical rigor, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement .
What You’ll Bring
Required qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
-
15+ years of industry experience , ideally within medical device manufacturing.
-
Significant experience in medical device manufacturing technology, process engineering, or industrialization within regulated manufacturing environments.
-
Hands-on industry experience with injection molding and/or extrusion.
-
Demonstrated leadership in new product scale-up, technology transfer, and manufacturing capability development .

Strong cross-functional leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
Even Better If You Have
-
An advanced degree such as an MS or Ph.D. in Engineering or Science .
-
CDMO experience within plastics manufacturing .
-
Experience leading global or multi-site manufacturing technology teams .

Location
Flexible within the Healthcare manufacturing footprint. This is a site-based role with significant global interaction and collaboration.

The Pay range for this role is $165,550.00 - $260,150.00 Annual
How Base Pay is Determined: DuPont has job leveling frameworks that help organize roles based on progressive levels of responsibility, proficiency and qualifications. Each role has an associated pay range (or an established pay rate for some roles) based on the competitive market in each country where we operate. Each individual’s pay is based on a variety of factors, including their role and the associated pay range for that role, their geographic location (i.e., country, state, metropolitan area), as well as their skills, experience, education and certifications, and performance.
