Overview Responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and systems. Maintain the safe operation of highly complex systems and equipment. Specific systems may include: electronic/pneumatic environmental controls, fan powered boxes and auxiliary equipment (various pumps, heat exchangers, air compressors, etc.) chiller operations, BAS controls, pump operations, water treatment program, air handler units, VAV's, walk-in coolers and freezers, refrigerators, ice machines and boiler operations. Responsibilities Responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and systems. Maintain the safe operation of highly complex systems and equipment.   • H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.

Work Experience

  • 3 years of Maintenance Tech experience to include HVAC experience required.

  • Experience may be substituted if graduate from a HVAC program.

  • 1 year experience for systems that include BAS controls required - experience must include of commercial/healthcare HVAC/HVAC BAS experience or graduation from a BAS program.

Licenses and Certifications

  • EPA – Universal Certification required

  • DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Valid state issued driver's license & adhere to Piedmont's Healthcare Vehicle Safety Program policy 3500 required
