Irrigation Service Technician – Seasonal / Temporary (Potential for Long-Term) Conserva Irrigation of Greater Bloomfield | Metro Detroit Area
About the Role
We're heading into our busiest stretch of the season and need an experienced technician to jump in and hit the ground running. This is a short-term position — a few weeks to start — but for the right person, there's real potential to stay on beyond that. No hand-holding, no ramp-up period. We need someone who knows irrigation and can be productive from day one.
What You'll Be Doing
-
Diagnosing and repairing residential and commercial irrigation systems
-
Installing and programming smart irrigation controllers and flow sensing equipment
-
Valve, manifold, and head repair and rebuilding
-
Adding to and enhancing existing systems, including micro and drip irrigation
-
Sensor, drainage, and high-efficiency upgrade installations
What We're Looking For
• Irrigation experience required — this is not a training role
-
Clean driving record
-
Ability to work independently in the field with minimal oversight
-
Physical capability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
-
Great attitude and professionalism — you'll be representing our brand with customers
-
Sales experience is a plus
What You Get
• $20–$27/hour based on experience + bonus opportunities
-
Fully equipped vehicle with industry-leading tools and technology
-
Phone and/or field tablet provided
-
A tight-knit team and a great work environment
-
A foot in the door with a company that promotes from within — if the fit is right, this doesn't have to end when the busy season does
The Bottom Line
We're a small, high-standards operation that takes irrigation seriously. If you're an experienced tech who wants steady work through the season with the possibility of something more, let's talk.
