NOW OFFERING DAILY PAY!
Licensed Physical Therapist needed for our patients recuperating from injuries, illnesses, and surgery to help them regain optimal function and manage pain. Our Physical therapists teach patients how to prevent or manage their condition so that they will achieve long-term health benefits. PTs examine each individual and develop a plan, using treatment techniques to promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function and prevent disability.
Required Skills
- Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Knowledge of Physical Therapy evaluation and treatment techniques.
Able to supervise and direct assistants and aides.
Understanding the principles of physical modalities employed in Physical Therapy.
Knowledge of use of prosthetic devices, ambulatory aides, assistive and resistive devices, and training.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Ability to work with all types and levels of patients.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- License/Certification/Registration
Current Physical Therapist Registration/State Licensure as required
Current CPR certification, if required.
Some facilities may require current state driver’s license.
- Required Experience Education:
Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
Experience:
Experience in geriatric rehabilitation preferred
Experience in adult neurological, cardiac, and/or general rehabilitation is preferred.*
