Overview

$10,000 Sign On BonusShift: Full Time; 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM Join our team as a Maternal Child Float Tier 1A RN! In this role, you’ll provide compassionate, family-centered care across our Maternal Child units based on patient care and staffing needs. This float position offers the opportunity to support multiple areas within Maternal Child Services, caring for mothers, newborns, and pediatric patients while collaborating closely with families and the multidisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities

  • Assesses the needs of patients and families and provides appropriate education, referrals, and resources to support continuity of care.

  • Develops and implements individualized plans of care in collaboration with the patient, family, and interdisciplinary healthcare team.

  • Delivers high-quality patient care using the nursing process while demonstrating the clinical knowledge and skills required for the assigned specialty.

  • Utilizes critical thinking and independent judgment while maintaining responsibility and accountability for assigned patients.

  • Provides holistic, age-appropriate care that considers physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, and safety needs.

  • Completes accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and care provided.

  • Promotes patient and workplace safety by following established policies and procedures and preventing and promptly reporting errors, accidents, infections, or other safety concerns.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Diploma from an RN program.

License(s)/Certification(s):

  • Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state.

  • Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state.

  • Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

  • Must possess and maintain ACLS
