We’re hiring a Lead QA Engineer to support a modern enterprise platform environment. This individual should bring strong experience with Agile development methodologies, QA automation frameworks, and engineering best practices. The ideal candidate is a hands-on automation engineer with leadership experience who can enhance existing test frameworks while collaborating closely with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to support feature delivery and platform quality.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain robust automated test suites for backend systems and RESTful APIs

• Design and implement testing strategies for AI/ML-powered applications, including validation of model outputs, prompt behavior, regression testing, and consistency across releases

• Develop automated evaluation frameworks for AI systems, including monitoring accuracy, drift, reliability, and other quality metrics within CI/CD workflows

• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, platform teams, and stakeholders to support governance, traceability, and production readiness of AI-enabled features

• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes

• Maintain and improve automation frameworks as system architecture evolves, including support for distributed or emerging technologies

• Partner with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to ensure high-quality releases across complex backend systems

• Manage defect tracking workflows and QA reporting using tools such as JIRA

• Define and report on QA metrics related to automation coverage, execution, reliability, and release quality

• Build and maintain performance and load testing frameworks for critical services and integrations

• Execute functional, integration, automation, API, and performance testing as required

• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA tooling, processes, and engineering standards within an Agile environment

Qualifications

• 10+ years of QA engineering experience with strong emphasis on backend systems and API testing

• 6+ years working within Agile SDLC environments and CI/CD-driven development teams

• Experience testing AI/ML or LLM-powered systems, including prompt testing, model validation, and handling non-deterministic outputs

• Familiarity with AI testing methodologies such as drift detection, bias evaluation, precision/recall analysis, and offline vs. online validation techniques

• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools or AI-enabled testing platforms is a plus

• Strong experience testing distributed systems, microservices, and REST APIs

• Experience with blockchain or distributed ledger technologies is beneficial but not required

• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling

• Experience with Python, PyTest, Behave, Postman, JMeter, or related testing tools

• Familiarity with Git-based workflows, Docker, Jenkins, and modern DevOps practices

• Experience integrating AI-enabled functionality into enterprise applications is preferred

• Background in financial services, banking, or other regulated environments is a plus
