Job Description

The Department of Clinical Health Sciences is seeking an experienced Clinical Instructor to join our accredited program in Communication Sciences & Disorders at Texas A & M University-Kingsville.  We are located in historic Kingsville, TX home of the legendary King Ranch and Kingsville- Naval Air Station. Our South Texas location is near the Gulf coast - Corpus Christi area, with beaches, birding, and fishing. The rank, Assistant Professor of Practice, is for a 9-month non-tenure track position with summer teaching possible/optional. The successful applicant will be expected to supervise/instruct graduate student clinicians in the on-campus clinic and possibly some local community outreaches, teach courses in the undergraduate and/or graduate program in CSDO and provide service to the university and profession.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Texas SLP Licensure or eligible to obtain Texas Licensure

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology

  • Three years of experience post CCC

  • MS or MA in Communication Sciences & Disorders
