You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing maintenance services and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, plastering, machine servicing, and electrical.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • CNC troubleshooting drives, motors

  • Machine repair

  • Troubleshoot and correct setups, tooling and malfunctions

  • Operate the personnel lifts

  • Operate forklifts

  • Perform repairs and adaptions of equipment, such as; changing air, grease and coolant lines, switches, belts, guards

  • Fabricate miscellaneous items out of wood, metal and Plexiglas

  • Build or fabricate devices to improve quality and production

  • Use hand and power tools

  • Move equipment

  • Plumbing, welding, construction of metal/wood, brazing, soldering, maintenance and inventory supply check in / out using CMMS system

  • Lookup MRO parts using CMMS system, if not available provide all relevant information to clerk, engineer or manager for prompt order of repair parts and rebuild machines as required

  • All non-routine machine maintenance and upkeep machines as required

  • Evaluate / repair / replace electrical motors and component

  • Wire machines

  • Install new equipment to meet all production needs

  • Basic PLC maintenance

  • Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area

  • Practice 6S

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Understand and follow verbal and written instructions, as well as drawings and blueprints

  • Certified forklift operator

  • Welding

  • Industrial electricity/wiring

Education and Experience Requirements

  • 40 semester hours of industrial trade training or 5 years general maintenance experience

  • Qualified electrician and basic electronics
