Aspirus Ironwood Hospital in Ironwood, MI is seeking a PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT to join our PHYSICAL THERAPY t eam!
The Physical Therapist Assistant carries outpatient treatment procedures for pediatrics, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients under the guidance and general supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
HOURS: Full Time; 1.0 FTE or 80 hours per pay period. Day Shift.
Experience/Qualifications
-
Knowledge of physical therapy standards and practices normally acquired through completion of an Associate Degree from a Physical Therapist Assistant program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).

Current CPR certification
-
Current Michigan PTA license
-
1-3 years’ experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant desirable.

Aspirus Ironwood Hospital includes a 25-bed critical access hospital, multi-specialty clinic, satellite clinic in Wisconsin, surgical clinic, walk-in clinic and a home health agency. Ironwood's service area covers approximately 30,000 people. The hospital has a 3 bed ICU and 4 surgical units. The emergency department is staffed 24/7 with ER physicians, with approximately 12,000 visits annually. The hospital's inpatient census is 12 patients per day. The outpatient clinic has over 50,000 visits annually.
